Authentication at OnQueStyle

Every item sold by OnQueStyle is a pre-owned, previously-owned, or vintage designer good accepted on consignment from private clients and estates. Before any item is listed for sale, it passes through a four-step authentication process.

Step 1 — In-house inspection

Our team reviews construction, materials, hardware, stitching, stamps, serial numbers, date codes, and all accompanying documentation — original receipts, dust bags, authenticity cards, service records, and replacement parts. Items that fail any in-house check are returned to the consignor and never listed.

Step 2 — Third-party authentication

Accessories, handbags, and high-value apparel are submitted to Entrupy for independent authentication. We retain the issuing certificate for every authenticated item and make the certificate reference available to buyers on request.

Step 3 — Condition grading

Each authenticated item receives a condition grade — Excellent, Very Good, Good, or Fair — that is disclosed in the product description. Any defect, repair, or wear pattern is photographed and described in plain language. We do not sell items we would not be comfortable wearing or carrying ourselves.

Step 4 — Provenance recordkeeping

We maintain a provenance chain for every item, including consignor identity, the date the item was received, and the authentication certificate reference. These records are retained for the life of the item's sale plus seven years.

OnQueStyle is an independent reseller of pre-owned luxury goods. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of the brands sold on this site. Items sold at OnQueStyle are not sold with the original manufacturer's warranty.
