An off-the-shoulder dress with a wide folded band that wraps across the upper arms, held up by a slim self-tie halter strap at the neck. The bodice is seamed and fitted through the waist, then releases into a deeply pleated skirt that falls just below the knee. A dense hollyhock floral print layers pink, ivory, plum, red and deep green over a white ground, and a concealed zipper closes the bodice. The cloth is crisp and unmarked with no fading at the seams.
